In the Italian city of Genoa, the Morandi Bridge is being dismantled after the collapse, due to which 43 persons died, AFP reports.
“Giuseppe Conte, Prime Minister of Italy to arrive at the bridge Morandi in Genoa, which the workers started to dismantle only in six months after the tragic bridge collapse. There were 43 victims,” the report said.
Earlier, on August 14 a bridge collapsed in the Italian Genoa, latest reports informed about 42 victims. At first, it was reported that the bridge collapsed because of the slacking of the load carrying structures. Later, the Prosecutor Francesco Gozzi stated that human’s mistake led to the incident.
PM Giuseppe Conte has declared a state of emergency in Genoa region because of the bridge collapse.
Later, the Ukrainian consular office in Milan reported that only two Ukrainian citizens suffered as a result of the collapse.
