General Prosecutor’s Office began an investigation into the Boeing-737 plane crash in Tehran, which killed 176 people, as the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office reports.

Law enforcers officers have opened criminal proceedings under the article "violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of air transport, which resulted in deaths."

As we reported, Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines, flight PS752 with 180 passengers aboard crashed in Tehran, not far from Imam Khomeini airport.

11 citizens of Ukraine died in the crash of Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines (PS 752 flight).

According to the message of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the cause of the PS 752 plane crash in Iran was a technical malfunction; the theory with the terror attack is ruled out.
