The Security Service of Ukraine has exposed the fact that the director of a hotel in the front-line zone of the Luhansk region was being recruited by the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation during a trip to Russia. The press service of the SBU in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

"Through many hours of psychological pressure, the employees of the enemy special services forced the elderly man to sign obligations to collect and transfer information to them about the hotel guests from among the Ukrainian law enforcement officers, military personnel, government officials and foreign citizens," the SBU said.

The woman was supposed to regularly transmit information about the guests to the enemy side, but after returning to the territory of Ukraine, the SBU exposed the fact of recruitment.

The SBU noted that high treason is punishable by up to 15 years in prison. At the same time, in case of failure to comply with a criminal order, citizens are released from responsibility.
