Lawyer of unlawfully detained in Moscow and acccusing of espionage correspondent of Ukrinform Roman Sushchenko, Mark Feygin told that in order to catch his client Russian FSB prepared "a trap using family and friends contacts."

This was reported by Ukrinform agency.

"It is clear that the Russian special services conducted an operative work against Roman Sushchenko. In order to catch him they prepared a trap using lots of family and friends contacts, "- said Feygin.

Also it will be difficult to Roman Sushchenko to obtain the status of political prisoner.

"Political prisoner status is granted taking into account a number of circumstances. In particular, obtaining necessary documents from the judicial authorities in which entire  situation and reasons, and political commitment, contrary to the laws should be clearly described.

And in Sushchenko's case authorities announced the presence of "state secret". And because of this, there are difficulties in obtaining the documents, "- said Feygin.

But he expressed confidence that "in any case, Roman deserves the status of political prisoner and, despite some obstacles, he will get it."
