FSB detained group of terrorists planning attacks in Moscow and St. Petersburg

In Russia were detaned members of the interregional group, which planned terrorist attacks in Moscow and St. Petersburg. This was reported by "TASS" in the Public Relations Center of the Russian FSB.

FSB stated that above mentioned group consisted of people from the Central Asian region, who were planning to commit a series of resonant subversive and terrorist acts in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

"As a result of operational search measures and investigative actions in Moscow and St. Petersburg on November 12, we detained 10 terrorists. Also we found and seized four improvised explosive high-power devices", reported in the department.

It is reported that the detainees were linked to ISIS.

"Detainees gave a confession about the contacts with leaders of banned in Russia  international terrorist organization "Islamic State" in the Middle East, the objects of terrorist aspirations, as well as in respect of associates, both in the Russian Federation and abroad," said the FSB.
