A 23 year old young man with right-wing stand was arrested for the attempt on French President Emmanuel Macron, reports BFM TV.

He planned to attack Macron on Bastille Day, July 14 on the Champs-Élysées. On the computer game site, a man asked where to buy a Kalashnikov rifle (AK-47).

When police officers came to him, he threatened them with a kitchen knife, and two more knives were hidden in his car.

The man served sentence in 2016 for propaganda of terrorism. At that time he was saying it was necessary to attack the blacks, Jews, Arabs and people of non-traditional sexual orientation. Then the law enforcers characterized him as a mentally unstable, but at the same time "sane and determined" person.
