France will allocate 100,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to developing countries through COVAX as Reuters reported.

“France will soon become the first European Union member to send some of its own COVID vaccine supplies to developing countries via the international COVAX scheme, hoping others will join its bid,” the message said.

France will donate 100,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine this month. It is noted that France obliged to send 500,000 doses of the vaccine until mid-June.

As we reported, 40 people have died in the UK after being vaccinated with Pfizer, while 22 people have died after being vaccinated with AstraZeneca.

On April 6, the EMA representative confirmed there is a connection between the AstraZeneca vaccine against coronavirus and the development of blood clots in the patients' bodies.

On April 20, the European Medicines Agency concluded that the blood clotting should be included in the list of rare side effects caused by vaccine by Jansen company, which is the division of Johnson & Johnson.
