The fourth stage of the vaccination against coronavirus has begun in Ukraine. That concerns people at the age over 60, people with concurrent conditions, prisoner population, and staff of the detention facilities as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported.
“The fourth stage of the vaccination from Covid-19 has started during which people at the age over 60, people with chronic diseases, prisoner population and staff of the detention places and remand centers will be vaccinated,” the message says.
Moreover, the vaccination of the priority groups from the previous stages continues; it concerns medics and other employees of the health institutions, citizens and staff of homes for elderly people and special residential care, citizens with limited mobility, social employees and priests, teachers, military, and so on.
As we reported, the newest Indian strain of coronavirus Delta has been recorded in Ukraine. A variant of the coronavirus named Delta was discovered in India in October last year. Since then, it has spread to 74 countries around the world. New symptoms include runny nose, headache, and sore throat.
