On February 25, one more passenger of Diamond Princess cruise liner with diagnosed coronavirus died, as Mainichi Shimbun reported.

The deceased is an 80-year old citizen of Japan.

851 cases of infection with coronavirus are confirmed in the territory of Japan. The majority of infected, 691 people, are the passengers and crew of Diamond Princess.

Totally, 3,700 people from 56 countries were on the board of the vessel. 2,700 are the passengers and the rest is the crew.

As we reported, more than two dozen Ukrainians aboard the Diamond Princess cruise liner are still not willing to be evacuated to their homeland.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko stated that not a single case of infection with the new pneumonia coronavirus was recorded in Ukraine, including among citizens evacuated from Wuhan

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian government introduced an extra safety measure in terms of the prevention of coronavirus spread. From now on, passengers from countries with a high risk of virus spread to get body temperature checked upon arrival in Ukraine.
