Four people died in car accident in Ukraine's Lviv region

Two more people were hospitalized

A car accident happened in Lviv region involving a bus of international route and a car. As a result, four people died, two more are in a hospital right now, reports the press office of the National Police in Lviv region. 

According to the Police, the accident occurred on the highway Lviv-Krakovets on December 16 at about 3 a.m.

The law enforcers recorded the collision of Neoplan shuttlebus with Volvo. The bus was coming from Poland to Dnipro.  

‘The driver and three passengers of the car died at the scene from the sustained injuries, another two passengers of Volvo, a 20-year-old resident of Rivne region and a 21-year-old resident of Kharkiv region were delivered to a hospital with physical injuries,’ reads the message. 

According to preliminary information, there were 70 passengers on the bus when the accident happened, none of them got hurt.

‘Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene to carry out investigative actions, after the bodies were taken out from the car,’ reported the press office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. 

Currently, the passengers of the bus are in a fire and rescue unit to get better.  

The law enforcers are establishing the personalities of all participants of the accident and finding out the circumstances of the incident.
