"China placed a city of four million people under lockdown on Tuesday, ordering them not to leave home except in emergencies, in a bid to eradicate a Covid cluster of just a few dozen confirmed cases," the message reads.
Buses and taxis have stopped working in the city. In addition, local media reported that today more than 70 trains, including on key routes, and air services have been suspended.

The Chinese authorities are trying to completely eliminate the coronavirus for the 2022 Olympic Games, which will take place in 100 days.
As it was reported, during the last days 46 people got sick with Covid, 19 recovered, and no fatalities are recorded in China. In total, about 97,000 people became ill during the coronavirus pandemic.
