Four Covid-19 vaccines currently available in Ukraine

There are currently four Covid-19 vaccines available in Ukraine, which are of three types. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health on Facebook.

"There are three types of Covid-19 vaccines available in Ukraine: mRNA (Comirnaty from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna), vector (AstraZeneca) and inactivated (CoronaVac from Sinovac Biotech). Each of these vaccines has passed all the necessary stages of clinical trials and is approved by the World Health Organization," the message says.

All vaccines are subject to very rigorous testing and safety testing before being approved.

Meanwhile, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 3,195 new cases of Covid-19, including 151 children and 37 healthcare workers.

1,752 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 76 patients deceased and 1,942 recovered. 29,287 tests have been taken.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 3,699,663 people have contracted the disease, 3,508,451 have overcome it, 97,164 have succumbed to it.
