Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry asks citizens who currently stay in Japan to keep away from five Japanese prefectures – above all, Fukushima, where the earthquake took place earlier today. The consulate service of the Ministry reported this on Tuesday.

‘Due to the powerful earthquake that took place near the coast of Fukushima on November 22, and taking into account possible after-shakes, the Ministry recommends that citizens of Ukraine abstain from coming to Fukushima, Ivate, Miyagi, Ibaraki and Chiba provinces. For all those staying in these regions – one should carefully follow the messages from the competent bodies of Japan,’ the Facebook post says.
