The Ukrainian Cabinet allowed the Foreign Ministry to assign 27,000 U.S. dollars to create Ukrainian audio guides in the museums of the Tower of London and Versailles. UNN news agency reported that on November 26.
This move will aim to improve Ukraine's positive image abroad and to increase its presence in the cultural area of the United Kingdom and France.
During the official visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky to the UK, the sides signed a memorandum to create the first Ukrainian audio guide in the Tower of London. The works will cost a bit more than 21,000 dollars. Ukraine's first lady Olena Zelenska was the one who signed the document. “For Ukraine and personally for me, the audio-guides in the Ukrainian language are not only about convenience and accessibility. It is, first of all, about the acceptance of Ukraine in the world, about its voice that could be heard soon in London Tower,” Zelenska noted.
The memorandum with the French side is yet to be signed; the works in Versailles will cost USD some 6,200.
