The most open country for Ukrainians after the introduction of Covid passports will be Turkey. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba told about it on Breakfast with 1 + 1 air.
"We are working to have a minimum number of requirements ... I spoke with the Albanian Foreign Minister yesterday. We agreed that the Ukrainians will be provided with appropriate conditions. I think we will open the main resorts. We are working with Spain. I think this summer we have there will be more conditions for travel than last year," Kuleba said.
Kuleba also noted that maximum conditions will be created for Ukrainian tourists in Turkey this summer.
According to him, the digital Covid certificate will be synchronized with the EU certificate from July. The Foreign Ministry agreed on this with Hungary, Moldova and Georgia.
As we reported, the European Commission decided to launch digital vaccination certificates from July 1. The document is free of charge, secure and accessible to all. It will cover vaccination, test and recovery offering different options to the citizens.
After the European Commission reaches an agreement on the implementation of these certificates, it is necessary that the European Parliament and the Council of Europe formally adopt a corresponding resolution. The adopted decree should enter into force on July 1, 2021, with a six-week period for the issuance of Covid certificates to countries that need additional time.
