Fog affects Kyiv airports' operation

Some flights are delayed or canceled due to the weather conditions

The fog, which has been observed in Ukrainian capital since Sunday evening, December 9, became the reason for certain adjustments to the operation of the two Kyiv airports.

The press service of Boryspil airport reported that due to the fog the airport is operating in reduced visibility mode. Both runways are in operation.

According to the information on the Boryspil online board, the departures of almost all flights are delayed, and it will not be possible to fly to Istanbul today - flights are canceled.

The press service of the Kyiv Sikorsky Airport did not officially report any changes in its operation; however, the data on its website also indicate delays and cancellations of a number of flights.

Previously, weather forecasters reported that the fog in Kyiv will last until Monday morning.
