According to the deputy mayor of the city, it is dangerous to stay at home for the residents of the most affected houses. For them, authorities found vacant places in the hostel of the local building lyceum and in the educational and rehabilitation center.
In connection with a difficult situation, city residents are asked to mobilize all the forces to help the victims of flooding. A fundraising was organized for children and adults, which is being held in the Chernihiv Training and Rehabilitation Center No. 2. One of the municipal utilities intends to organize nutrition for the victims.
"In addition, the empty houses will be provided with round-the-clock protection by the police and municipal guards for the period of bringing these houses into proper condition and studying the situation on their further exploitation," the mayor assured.
To eliminate the consequences, the local forces of the National Guard and the Railway Regiment are also going to be involved.
