A road accident claimed lives of five people not far from Kryve Ozero town in Mykolaiv region, southern Ukraine. Another twelve were taken to a hospital with various injuries. The press service of Mykolaiv region's police branch reproted that on Facebook.
Volkswagen bus with Belarusian license plates, which was en route from Odesa to Gomel (Belarus), ran into a van, which was parked on the roadside, apparently experiencing a malfunction.
The driver and four passengers of the bus deceased instantly; another 12 passengers were hospitalized.
Earlier, two cars crashed in a deadly road accident in Kyiv in the small hours of Wednesday; Daewoo Lanos and Mercedes Vito appear to be involved in the head-on collision. It killed two people and inflicted severe traumas on another two, Informator reported.
