For the first time since the beginning of pandemic, more Kyiv citizens recovered than got infected: 29 people have confirmed Covid-19, while 44 people recovered as 112 Ukraine TV channel reported citing Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
Totally, there are 2,739 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the capital.
“The number of Kyiv citizens with confirmed coronavirus increased by 29 people. Four of them are medics. During the past 24 hours, three persons died. Totally, 64 lethal cases were observed. As for today, there are 2,739 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the capital,” Klitschko reported.
Thus, 12 women at the age of 34 up to 67 and a nine-year-old girl, 14 men at the age of 35 up to 99, and two 10 and 13-year-old boys are among the infected.
10 patients were hospitalized. Others stay in self-isolation under the control of the doctors. 33 people recovered.
“44 people recovered within 24 hours. In other words: for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, more Kyiv citizens recovered than got infected. Totally, 442 Kyiv citizens overcame the virus,” Klitschko noted.
As of 09:00 a.m., May 27, 21,905 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases observed in Ukraine. 658 cases are lethal, while 7,995 people recovered. 321 new cases of coronavirus were spotted within the past 24 hours.
