The first Spanish vaccine against Covid-19 will go through clinical trials in Argentina. This was reported by El Periodico.

"The RUTI vaccine against Covdi-19, developed by a researcher at the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital and produced by the pharmaceutical company Archivel Farma, is the first Spanish vaccine to be approved for international clinical trials, which will be conducted in Argentina," the statement said.

According to the company, the vaccine, originally developed against tuberculosis, should also be effective against other viral infections, such as Covid-19.

As we reported earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine was ready to assist the European Union with the production of the Covid-19 vaccine.

"I want to tell the EU countries that, unfortunately, we do not have a vaccine yet, but we want to get one, we are prepared in terms of vaccine production. We have companies that are ready to help when we are presented with the vaccine. We are ready to assist EU countries in mass production of vaccines," he said.
