Yesterday, on December 29, the first festive bicycle parade from Christmas tree to Christmas tree #bike2holidays was held in Kyiv. The cycling parade started at Sofiyska square and ended at Kontraktova Street. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
"The #bike2holidays bicycle parade has demonstrated that cycling is not tied to the warm season and can bear company even during the New Year celebrations and other winter holidays. We would like to thank everyone who joined us, to thank for the holiday mood and funny cycle ride through the city,” the message reads.
The festivities began at 5 p.m., as the carnival march took place, and the visitors met with "St. Nicholas the Wonderworker". The music concert included performances by NAONI orchestra and Druha Rika rock band.
The tree is over 20 meters high and consists of 400 live pines; 750 New Year tree decorations and four kilometers of fairy lights.
