The first batch of doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has arrived in Canada, as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reported on Twitter.

The first batch of doses of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine have arrived in Canada,” he wrote.

However, the PM noted that the fight against coronavirus is not over yet.

This is good news. But our fight against COVID-19 is not over. Now more than ever, let’s keep up our vigilance. Keep wearing your masks, washing your hands, avoiding gatherings,” Trudeau added.

Earlier, the UK approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine against coronavirus in the country. Britain has ordered 40 million doses of Pfizer vaccine for the vaccination of 20 million of the population. Soon, about 10 million doses will be supplied to the country, while the first 800,000 doses will arrive in the country in the next few days.

Besides, the management of Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (USA) approved the use of BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine from coronavirus. The approved recommendation concerns people of 16 years old and more.
