In Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, the extinguishing of individual fire seats continues. Yhe radiation background in Kyiv is within the normal range and does not exceed the natural background values, as the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
In particular, fires continue to be put out in the Exclusion Zone on the territory of Korohodsky, Lubyansky, Paryshevsky, Dytyatkovsky and Denysovetsky forestries.
In Zhytomyr region, firefighters continue to extinguish individual foci of decay of grass flooring and hemp, there are no open foci of burning observed.
In particular, it concerns the smoldering on the territory of the Vystupivsky forestry area near Rudnya, where the fire area is about 2,000 hectares, and on the territory of the Berezhetsky forestry area (the area is about 700 hectares).
As we reported before, the law of Ukraine on increasing fines for the damage to natural environment took effect on April 17. The Ukrainian Parliament passed the respective bill on April 13; 328 MPs voted "yes", with 226 votes necessary to pass.
