Fire broke out at coke plant in Avdiivka, Ukraine

The fire burst out at Avdiivka coke plant in Donetsk region. This was reported by Ukraine's State Emergency Service press service.

"On July 21, at 9.32 a.m., the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast received information about a fire in the conveyor belt of the coke shop №1 of the Avdiivka Coke Plant in Avdiivka," the statement said.

Upon arrival, rescuers found that the conveyor belt was burning on the territory of the coke shop №1 at a height of 20 meters and a length of 70 meters.

The production process did not stop.

The fire was localized at 10.12 a.m. and extinguished at 10.21 a.m.

There are no casualties in the fire.
