A fire broke out at Felicita recreation facility in Zatoka, Odesa region on Wednesday, September 8. The flames spread across the area of 120 square meters, damaging four houses. Press office of Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported that on Wednesday.
The message reached the Service unit at 6.20 a.m. When the rescue team arrived, four houses on the facility's premises were on fire. The fire posed immediate threat to other houses, too. The firemen localized the fire at 6.50 a.m. and put out the fire by 7.56 - completely.
25 people were evacuated from the facility; no victims occurred thanks to the timely evacuation.
The rescue team looks into what could have caused the fire.
Earlier, we reported that the interior decoration of the church and the organ were damaged as a result of a fire at the St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Cathedral, Kyiv. This follows from the information of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which published a photo of the cathedral on Velyka Vasylkivska Street, which is damaged by the flames.
