A fire broke out on the premises of ship repairing yard in Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine. The State Emergencies Service reported that on July 16. 

"A message about the fire in the ship bulge in Mykolaiv ship repairing yard (...) appeared on July 16, at 2.35 p.m. One man was evacuated; no one suffered any injuries", reads the report.

A ship bulge took minor damage; the fire was extinguished within an hour. The flames took the area of eight square meters. The State Emergencies Service assumes fire safety rules were ignored during maintenance works.

Earlier this month, President Volodymyr Zelensky inspected the terminals and investment projects of Transinvestservice company (TIS), as he was on a working trip in Odesa region. In particular, the head of state examined the Neptune Cargill grain terminal station and the Pivdenny state port, where the Trump D bulk carrier, owned by an American company, is also located. The ship was arrested in May 2020 by the Pechersk court in Kyiv. However, the shipowner (a company from the USA) reported that it did not know anything about the arrest of the vessel, and the reasons for this were not clear.
