A fire broke out on the premises of military unit No. A1619 (Haysyn, Vinnytsia region, central Ukraine) on November 13. The flames engulfed about 200 square meters; the press office of the SBI (State Bureau of Investigations, - 112 International) reported that on November 14.
The fire was extinguished successfully, no casualties were observed. However, hundreds of kevlar vests and helmets, sleeping bags, tents, combat uniforms and waterproof suits were destroyed.
SBI investigation teams of the agency's territorial branch in Khmelnytsky region are looking into what caused the fire.
Last month, the largest Iran oil refinery suffered a fire due to fuel leakage. According to Seyyid Ali Nurbakhshi, the representative of the enterprise, the fire that engulfed one of the refinery blocks is localized; there are no casualties among the staff.
The incident occurred after recent attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, as well as shelling of an Iranian tanker in the vicinity of the Saudi port.
