The law increasing fines for parking in restricted areas specifically in disabled car slots takes effect in Ukraine today, on October 26.
The law touches upon stopping and parking the automobiles on the spots for the disabled people, and upon the use of disabled driver sticker. Thus, the public officers shall also be liable to $37 - $62 fine for failure to equip the parking areas for disabled or equipped them with certain violations.
The $75 - $94 fines shall be served on the repeated violation by the public officers responsible for maintaining the parking areas, who failed to install them with automated parking systems, automatic entry-exit terminal and other payment control devices.
