October 6, a farewell ceremony for those killed in the An-26 plane crash near Chuhuiv will take place in Kharkiv. This was reported on the page of the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine named after Ivan Kozhedub on Facebook.

Also, a press officer of the university Oleh Koshevyy, in a comment to Kharkiv Today, said that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will be present at the farewell ceremony.

The farewell ceremony will take place at 10 am at Freedom Square.

October 5, a rehearsal was held on the square before tomorrow's ceremony.

As we reported before, the process of passing bodies to the relatives of the deceased as the result of the An-26 crash near Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, has started.

“Today, the procedure started of the release of the bodies of deceased to the relatives for burial,” the message said.

The experts held 27 DNA-studies with blood samples; later they held five studies with samples of bone tissue of unidentified bodies and 14 studies with samples of personal belongings.
