Members of the far-right party National Corps, National guard, and farmers on Monday, December 16, blocked the highway Kharkiv - Chuhuev. The press service of the National Corps stated, Country reports.
Protesters demand that the authorities and the president "listen to the voice of the people and remove from consideration all the bills that allow the sale of agricultural land."
Protesters noted that the lifting of the moratorium on the sale of land should be preceded by at least a ban on the sale of land to foreigners; a decrease in the permissible amount of land owned by one person from 210,000 hectares to 500 hectares and a full audit of agricultural land in Ukraine.
As we reported, protesters have surrounded the parliamentary building in Kyiv, thus protesting against land reform, supported by Ukrainian MPs.
