The missile parts fallen on the flowerbed of a school in Lysychansk, Luhansk region do not pose any threat. The press office of the National Police in Luhansk region reported.

‘According to the preliminary information of the explosives experts, the parts of shells were found on the flowerbed in the yard of the school. None of the children and other residents didn’t hurt. The discovered parts do not pose any threat,’ reads the message.

Reportedly, on October 12, the Police Department in Lysychansk city received a message from local residents that heard an explosion in the area of the park. Also, they claimed that something has fallen on the park near the school. The operational investigation group and explosive experts arrived at the scene. The territory was cordoned off, 682 children and teachers were evacuated from the school.

Later, Vitalii Krylov, Speaker of operations command “Zakhid” claimed in the commentary to 112 Ukraine that Ukrainian militaries spotted the enemy’s two unmanned aerial vehicles in the area of the inter-entity boundary line; air defense systems were used.

‘One of the drones was hit at an altitude of two kilometers. What people heard and saw was the wreckage of the shell used by the air defense forces. Fortunately, as a result of the wreckage fall no one got hurt,’ a reporter quotes the words of the military.
