The Ministry of Health has prepared a corresponding draft decree to extend the quarantine until August 31. In Ukraine, new criteria will be introduced in the context of adaptive quarantine. The Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov stated this during a briefing in the Zhytomyr region.

According to Stepanov, the general rules by which the whole country will live are mask regime, social distance and antiseptics. However, in the regions, quarantine measures may be tightened depending on which zone the regions will be in.

"Moreover, we are introducing such a concept as several zones - green, yellow, orange and red zones ... Restrictions, if this or that region enters the yellow, orange or red zone, depending on which will be strengthened," Stepanov said.

In addition, Stepanov told how the salaries of doctors will change from September 1.

"From September 1, we will increase the wages of all our medical workers, nurses, nurses by UAH $130, $90 and $45. This is only the first step of these systemic solutions to increase wages," the minister said.
