The explosive, which the miner threatened to blow up the Metro bridge in Kyiv, turned out to be a fake. Also, the attacker did not have clear requirements for the police. Head of the capital police Andriy Kryshchenko stated this in a comment to reporters, as Ukrainska Pravda reported.
It is stated that in the tank with which the attacker threatened to blow up the bridge, there was land.
“He called and said that he’s on the Metro bridge, he has explosives and requires the police to meet. He didn’t say his own requirements. A plan of police special operation was immediately introduced, traffic was blocked,” Kryshchenko said
Also, the head of the police noted that the miner was registered in Vyshneve (Kyiv region).
Now the man has been delivered to the district administration. There were called doctors and psychologists. The police opened a criminal case under the false mining report.
In addition, it is reported that all stations of the Kyiv metro are operating normally.
