Explosion thundered in Lyon, France: Woman and child died

An explosion occurred in a two-story building In French Lyon. Later it turned into a fire, resulting in the death of two people. It is reported by BFMTV.

"Two bodies were found, this is a woman and a child," the police said.

Four more people were injured.

An investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the tragedy is underway.

Earlier, in the Italian city of Genoa, the Morandi Bridge was dismantled after the collapse, due to which 43 persons died, as AFP reported.

Earlier, on August 14 a bridge collapsed in the Italian Genoa. At first, it was reported that the bridge collapsed because of the slacking of the load carrying structures. Later, the Prosecutor Francesco Gozzi stated that human’s mistake led to the incident.

Giuseppe Conte, Prime Minister of Italy declared a state of emergency in Genoa region because of the collapse of the bridge.

Later, the Ukrainian consular office in Milan reported that only two Ukrainian citizens suffered as a result of the collapse.
