Rescuers have extricated the bodies of five people from the rubble of the house that exploded in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
"As of 3:30 a.m. on June 23, the State Emergency Service found the body of a dead man, born in 1976, who was recognized by a neighbor," the statement said.
Thus, the bodies of five people have been pulled out of the rubble since the beginning of the works: two women and three men.
42 units of equipment and 211 people are working at the scene.
As we reported earlier, law enforcement authorities are considering two versions of the explosion.
"One version is a gas explosion, the other is an explosive device. Now the bombers have taken the materials for examination. It will take 30-40 minutes to establish the cause of the explosion," the report reads.
According to Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, tents for victims have been set up and meals for them have been organized.
