A powerful explosion took place in Rotterdam; it damaged seven houses and cars. According to the local police, the incident occurred at about 3 a.m. local time.
"No one was hurt, the affected residents had no need to leave their dwellings, but the impact and shock were powerful", the report said.
The investigation into the reason for the explosion is underway. The police ask people to share information from surveillance video cameras or dashcams.
Local media claim that the explosion was caused by a hand grenade thrown into one of the houses that took damage.
As we reported earlier, an explosion occurred on the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline in Poltava region, which is serviced by the "Operator of the Gas Transportation System of Ukraine" (Ukrtransgaz).
The explosion took place near the village of Kalaidyntsi around 16:00.
Local residents were warned that an emergency gas shutdown is possible. According to preliminary information there are no victims or injured. 40 people were involved in extinguishing fire. Repair teams are working at the scene of the incident. There is no danger for residents of neighboring settlements. Gas transit is also not in danger.
