On June 21, an explosion occurred in a residential building in Kyiv’s Poznyaky area

Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said that the explosion in the residential building on Poznyaky occurred due to human negligence, 112 Ukraine reports.

"In my opinion, I can say in advance that this is human negligence, because such explosions occur sometimes, not only in the city of Kyiv, but also in other cities of Ukraine, and also abroad, and this is a human factor," Klitschko said.

The mayor of Kyiv also noted that more detailed information will be available later.

"All other information will become known a little later; like - what happened, the reason is who is to blame... and we must do everything so that such things do not happen again," Klitschko added.

In addition, the mayor recalled that the city will commit itself to providing repairs in apartments that belonged to victims of the explosion.

As we reported before, the search and rescue operations at the place of the explosion in Poznyaky district in Kyiv are finished.

“As of 2:00 p.m., June 23, the search and rescue operations at the place of explosion in the building at the address Solomiya Krushelnytska 1/5 Street in Kyiv are finished,” the message said.
