“As of 2:00 p.m., June 23, the search and rescue operations at the place of explosion in the building at the address Solomiya Krushelnytska 1/5 Street in Kyiv are finished,” the message said.
The planning and deconstruction of the destroyed part of the building will be organized by Kyiv City State Administration.
As we reported, rescuers have extricated the bodies of five people from the rubble of the house that exploded in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv.
As we reported earlier, law enforcement authorities are considering two versions of the explosion.
"One version is a gas explosion, the other is an explosive device. Now the bombers have taken the materials for examination. It will take 30-40 minutes to establish the cause of the explosion," the report reads.
According to Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, tents for victims have been set up and meals for them have been organized.
On June 21, a person died as a result of an explosion in a residential building in the capital's Poznyaky district.
