An explosion occured today in Kyiv, according to the police communications department of Ukrainian capital.

At 14:06, the duty officer received a report about the explosion of an unknown object on Hrushevsky Street.

As a result, a man and two womwn were injured.

"A woman is seriously wounded, she's lying on the asphalt, another man is wounded in the head. 14:16. No ambulance so far! " wrote eyewitness Yuri Hort on Facebook.

"It turns out that the explosive device was thrown from the car, but detonated on the lawn, on the grass. The explosion hit the heads, not the lower limbs of people. I think the woman is alive, she was picked up by the ambulance. I did not see the man. The woman received immediate help by National Guard members, who were passing by. They said so, their bus is near the site, "one of the witnesses told to journalists.
