An explosion thundered at the military plant in Babeni, Southern Romania. Four people deceased in the blast, and four more suffered injuries, writes Agerpres.

According to the local healthcare workers, several employees of the plant were trying to defuse the landmine when it exploded.

Member of the local emergency service Octavian Fulger said that four wounded people are in stable condition. The investigation kicked off.

The enterprise in Babeni is a part of Energotech group; it produces arms and ammunition, enjoying the status of supplier of the Romanian Defense Ministry and the NATO.

As we reported, last month, a powerful explosion occured in Kabul. The incident took place in front of the border police headquarters building. Two Taliban members were wounded in the attack, Taliban Interior Ministry spokesperson stated.
