The MP of the Batkivshchyna faction Yulia Tymoshenko received a negative test result for Covid-19. This was announced by her spokeswoman Maryna Soroka on Facebook.

"Finally, it is time for good news! Yulia Volodymyrivna has just received a negative test result for Covid-19. The coronavirus has been overcome. She feels much better. There is still pneumonia, but the treatment is going well successful, and she will soon return to normal life and her duties," the statement said.

Reports about Tymoshenko's disease appeared in the media on August 23, her condition was estimated as severe.

As we reported earlier, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak got infected with the coronavirus.

The Defense Ministry stated that Khomchak had not any signs of infection a few days before.

“It is true. However, a few days ago we saw him at work he looked absolutely healthy,” the ministry’s representative stated.

As of now, medics have already confirmed 148,756 cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine.
