As the Eurovision-2020 was canceled due to the coronavirus, Rotterdam decided to remodel the Ahoy arena into a temporary hospital for 680 people, as AD reported.

88 beds at 22 four-person rooms will be ready soon. Each of them has a shower and toilet. There is also a place for doctors, nurses and rest.

The hospital will accept patients with coronavirus and with other diseases, which do not need treatment at the hospital but they also cannot stay at home. It will be possible if Dutch hospitals are overcrowded; the patients will stay in separate boxes.

Besides, the first room at Van der Valk Ridderkerk hotel will be ready to admit the patients. It concerns people who had a positive result of the test but they cannot stay home.

As we reported, despite all the confusion with the event organizing, it is already known that the folk-band Go_A will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021.
