Ukrainian band Go-A will perform in the second half of the Eurovision final show in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The band drew such a lot during the press conference of the winners of the first semifinal of the song contest.
This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the draw procedure was slightly changed. Usually the contestants themselves pulled a piece of paper from the bowl with lots. This time, the presenters of the press conference took turns pointing at the paper rolls with the options and asking the participants to stop them on the desired choice. In addition, the Eurovision finalists communicated with the journalists in the press center one at a time, and not all together, as usual.
Eurovision 2021 will take place at the previously planned Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam. The semi-finals will take place on May 18 and 20, and the final on May 22. The results of the draw of semi-finals for 2020 will remain in force. The organizers allowed the winners of selections for 2020 to perform; however, the song should be new. All partakers of Eurovision 2021 will record their songs alive beforehand. The government of the Netherlands confirmed that Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam will take place with a limited audience and under strict conditions that provide health and safety of the fans, team, press, and participants.
