Eurovision 2017: Rapid response teams of National Guard maintain public order

Fighters of rapid response teams of Ukraine’s National Guard joined the police in Kyiv to maintain public order in the city during Eurovision 2017 in Ukraine. The National Guard’s press service reported that on May 2.

The guards will be working jointly with police officers at police checkpoints across Kyiv.

According to Lt. Col. Mykola Mishakin, First Deputy Brigade Commander of the National Guard, the fighters are ready to fulfill any task regarding public safety – both for the locals and city guests.
