The representatives of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the host broadcaster of the National Television Company of Ukraine (NTCU) and the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) held a meeting in Kyiv, during which they discussed the technical features of the International Exhibition Centre, which will host the competition. UA: Pershyi reports this.

The organizers said that the total area of the International Exhibition Center is 58 thousand square meters, the area of exhibition halls is 28, and of the green poker room - 800 square meters.

The planned size of the stage is about 750 square meters.

There are 15 meeting rooms with a total area of 1.7 thousand sq. m, 2.5 thousand parking spaces on the premises.

Also there is a possibility to build additional facilities at the park area, such as the press center, which will be located away from the noise. Thus, the organizers say that the arena will be enlarged almost twice. Pre-scheduled press center area will be 4 thousand sq. m.

The IEC has 15 outputs that are adapted for the entry of heavy vehicles.

There are the normal lighting, air conditioning, toiletries, reliable roof, and the conditions for high-quality sound.

"This greatly affects the quality of sound and acoustics in the room. We need to understand what to do to completely adapt the arena for Eurovision. It is necessary to completely change the acoustics inside the arena. A lot needs to be done before the installation of the equipment", the Deputy General Director of NTCU Victoriya Romanova.

The Executive Director of Eurovision Jon Ola Sand noted the need to consider where to place the relay node and television equipment, which occupy very much space, and how the safety will be guaranteed.

The second point on which Ola Sand drew attention was the number of seats.

"Most of the tickets to be sold will be the seats, so we should think first about them. Of course, we need the fan zone, which will house about 2 thousand people, but most of the tickets have to be for the seats", said the Executive Director of the contest.
