The music fountain complex in the downtown Ukrainian capital resumed working; the ceremony took place on May 4, featuring city mayor Vitaliy Klychko. Thus, another sight of interest and an entertainment point will be available for this year’s Eurovision guests.
‘The fountain that was damaged during the 2014 Revolution of Dignity was in fact built anew. Pumps, networks, granite elements and fences were repaired; new control relays were set. The fountain now has an advanced video surveillance system with 10 cameras. We did it! The Fountain at Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square got a new life now. 35 meters in height, almost 700 lamps, 18 acoustic systems… it’s a true gem of Kyiv!,’ the city hall posted at Facebook.
