Eurovision 2017 guests to cross Ukraine’s custom border under simplified procedure

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine will introduce a simplified procedure of check-ins at the customs border - for those coming to participate and watch the Eurovision shows in Ukraine. Myroslav Prodan, the Acting Head of the Service said this as quoted by the authority’s press service.  

‘We’re ready to provide the best possible level of service of all foreign citizens coming to our country for Eurovision; there will be a simplified procedure of crossing the customs border. All materials, products and equipment that are relevant to organization and holding of the song contest will be processed fast,’ Prodan assured.

According to the official, the organization issues and all respective procedures were agreed with relevant authorities of the countries participating in the contest.

This year’s Eurovision will be taking place at the International Exhibition Centre in Kyiv; the semifinals are slated for May 9 and 11, and the final is to take place on May 13.
