European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called on the European Union to discuss the issue of mandatory vaccination against coronavirus as TASS reported.

“Yes, there are very young children or people with special health conditions who cannot be vaccinated, but the vast majority can. Therefore, I think it would be understandable and normal to discuss the issue of compulsory vaccination in the EU,” the head of the European Commission said.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine is ready for a booster vaccination and, if necessary, for full re-vaccination campaigns. The booster vaccination campaign could be launched in January or February 2022.
