Remdesivir reportedly caused acute kidney disease in some patients. It is not yet known if they were caused by the coronavirus or the drug itself.

As you know, US President Donald Trump, who was also diagnosed with coronavirus, began to take this drug.

As a reminder, Remdesivir was developed by a Californian biopharmaceutical company to combat Ebola. In mid-April 2020, Canadian scientists reported that the drug prevents the coronavirus from multiplying.

As we reported before, in Jerusalem's Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital, an experiment was conducted to treat patients with COVID-19 using biological cells taken from healthy people.

"On the eve of September 30, a fifth of five critically ill patients were discharged after receiving innovative treatment in the first clinical trial of this kind," the report said.
