The European Parliament urges the European Commission to come up with a proposal to cancel the switch to the standard and daylight saving time as Unian reported.
'The proper resolution will be submitted for the voting next week on February 8 within the plenary session in Strasbourg. The project of the resolution was prepared by Transport and Tourism Committee of the European Parliament', the message said.
It is noted that the resolution project became the respond to the complaints of the citizens toward the state of health due to the consequences of the time switches twice a year.
Earlier Finland claimed to strive for the cancelation of the daylight saving time in the EU when 70, 000 Finish citizens signed a proper petition.
